Kg 2's started out the academic year with the Plants theme. Children learnt through various activities about how plants grew, the essential needs for the growth of a plant and the different variety of plants found.

While following step by step instructions from the teacher's, children grew their own seeds and observed for some days how the seed grew.
Children also learnt that without the needed nutrients a plant would not grow well

Our class also went for a nature walk and observed the different types of plants growing around our school area.
