AFEW 2012-"Working Together for a Better Future."

The AFEW Giraffe Center competition takes place every year and our school has the privilege to participate in this competition so that we can bring light to the future youth of this country, our children,  the importance of preserving the earth and its various treasures. This year's topic was 'Working Together for a better Future.'

This group worked on 'working together instead of individually to change the world.' They each made a hand print around the globe where the did papier mache on the continents and stuck crayon shavings for the water.

Here the whole activity involved finger printing, and this group worked on keeping our environment clean.

The children here showed the importance of planting trees and did a collage activity where they stuck various materials to come up with this picture.

This activity was also a collage where children showed that we should be caring towards the life that exists under the ocean. We should not pollute it.

This group is showing that we should adapt to using material bags and not plastic bags. The children did a mosaic activity where they stuck material to make the bag, and a plastic bag with a cross saying we should not use it.
