As our project during the month of April/May was Milk and Milk Products, we visited a cow shed in a Children’s home where we got to see how the cows were kept and how the cows are milked to get milk. After the supervisor showed us how to milk the cow, each child got an opportunity to do the same and see how to go about milking a cow.

The Home had a Hen Pen too so children got to have a look at it and the hen's egg.
